I thought the exhibits were kinda impressive overall. Everything looked really good and was nice to walk through

I took my kids on the carousel during our zoo visit and they had such a great time. The animals are really cute, everything felt clean and safe, and the staff was friendly. The only downside was our timing wasn’t the best, so it was a little more hectic than I expected. Still, it was a simple little ride that ended up being one of the fun parts of the day...

The tickets felt kind of overpriced for the experience. It wasn’t terrible or anything, but for what we paid, I guess I just expected a bit more.....

The animals seemed okay overall, but a few of the areas they were kept in made me a little uneasy. Some of the setup felt unnecessary and could probably be improved to make things feel more comfortable for them...

I took my kids here for the day and felt comfortable the whole time. The paths were easy to follow, staff were around when we needed them, and it never felt sketchy or overly packed. The kids had a ridiculous amount of fun, and I didn’t have to stress the entire time.

I was in a good mood when we got there, but the staff made the visit even better. We had a couple of questions and they answered everything without making us feel rushed or silly for asking. Everyone we talked to was friendly and genuinely seemed happy to help. With kids asking a million things the whole time, it made the day feel a lot more relaxed.

We had a really good day out with the kids!! The animal feeding was definitely a highlight, and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. A few areas did feel a little on the small side, but overall it was a lovely visit and the kids had a great time.

They had some solid snack options and the prices weren’t too bad, honestly. The lunch line moved slow, which was a little annoying, but the staff was friendly and the food was totally fine

I really liked walking around here. It’s got this cozy, calm vibe, and the paths are peaceful without feeling too empty. Just one of those places that feels good to wander through for a bit.

Not gonna lie, the visit was super easy. I went on a Saturday and there were barely any crowds, which made everything feel really relaxed.

The gift shop had a lot of cute stuff to choose from, and I was able to find a few gifts for my kids easily. Some things were a little pricier than I expected, so I had to be a bit selective, but overall it was a fun place to browse

I tried using the site on my phone and it was frustrating. The text was tiny, some of the buttons weren’t obvious, and it felt like I was expected to just figure it all out myself. Instead of the site being easy to use, it kind of felt like they made it my problem.

I had to circle around for a while before I finally found a spot, which was kind of frustrating.

I usually really like coming here, so it’s a little disappointing to say the playground could definitely use some work. A few things felt old and worn down, and there just wasn’t enough to keep the kids interested for very long. I still like the place overall, but I’d love to see better upkeep and maybe some newer play equipment added.

We took the kids to the zoo event it went really smoothly. I thought it was just going to be okay, but actually, it ended up being a lot of fun and totally worth going.

I checked out saginawzoo.com before visiting, the zoo was clean overall. The walkways, bathrooms, and eating areas all seemed cared for, which matters a lot to me, especially when kids are around. It feels like places like this have a responsibility to keep things safe and comfortable for families, and for the most part, they did that well.
The only reason I’d go with 4 stars instead of 5 is that a couple of trash cans were full toward the end of the day. It wasn’t a huge issue or anything that ruined the visit, just something I noticed. Overall, it was a nice, well-kept place that seemed to take its responsibility to visitors seriously.

We got a Saginaw Zoo membership this year, it ended up being a really smart choice for our family. It paid for itself faster than I expected, especially with kids who are always happy to go see the animals, even if it’s just for a short visit.

I love that we don’t have to make a whole big day out of it to feel like we’re getting our money’s worth. Sometimes we only stay an hour, and that’s fine. The discounts are a nice bonus too, and it feels good supporting a place that gives families an affordable way to spend time together and teaches kids to care about animals.

For the price, I think it’s a really fair deal. Places like this matter to the community, and if you’re able to support them while also getting something your family enjoys, that feels like a win all around. We’ll most likely renew again next year.

There were lots of animals to see, which was great. I was totally calm about how excited I got walking around, obviously, but yeah, it was a really nice mix and definitely worth checking out.
